Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 has revealed the first trailer, along with a new key visual and an April 7 premiere date. The news came at a special program attended by Yumi Uchiyama (Rudy), Tomokazu Sugita (adult Rudy), Konomi Kohara (Roxy), Ai Kayano (Sylphiette), Ai Kakuma (Eris), Ryota Osaka (Cliff), Satoshi Tsuruota (Zanoba) and Yuiko Ohara (composed and performed many songs for the anime). The anime previously revealed the first teaser visual in December 2023.
The staff for the second season includes Hiroki Hirano as the director, Sanae Shimada as the character designer, Toshiya Ono as the series composer, Masakazu Miyake as the art director and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as the music composer. The theme songs for the first part of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 were “Spiral” by LONGMAN (opening) and “Musubime” by Yuiko Ohara (ending).
The first season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation aired over 2 cours during the Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 anime seasons for a total of 23 episodes. The first part was voted the Summer 2023 Anime of the Season ranking. The anime by Studio Bind is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations.
Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. The latter describes the story:
