Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is listed with a total of 23 episodes on the official website in its Blu-ray/DVD details. The first 2 volumes will cover the first 11 episodes of the anime (Volume 1: Episodes 1-5, Volume 2: Episodes 6-11). The first one releases on April 21, and the second on June 23. However, there’s a period of 4 months until the third volume which will release on October 22. It most likely means that the 2nd part of the anime will premiere in Summer 2021 (probably July 4 or July 11 if its broadcast day remains Sunday) after a one season break. The anime is enjoying huge popularity right now. It showed the potential to be one of the best of Winter 2021 before it even premiered. Studio Bind was founded mainly to produce Mushoku Tensei, and 23 episodes may just be the first part. The original light novel is regarded as the [grand]father of isekai and there is a lot of material to cover if they decide to do so. Although the Blu-ray information clearly states that there will be 23 episodes, it’s not officially known if and/or when there will be a break. Obviously it will be even better if there’s not. However, it’s reasonable to be ready for one based on the data we have so far.
