My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 revealed a July 5 premiere date with a new visual starring Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo. Studio CloverWorks is back to animate the sequel, along with the same core staff.

The anime adaptation began with a TV anime by CloverWorks in January 2022. The 12-episode series aired in Winter 2022, with the full voice cast including:

- Atsumi Tanezaki as Sajuna Inui
- Hina Youmiya as Shinju Inui
- Atsushi Ono as Kaoru Gojo

- Sakura Tange as Mirai Tengeji
- Akira Sekine as Rune
- Yusuke Shirai as Kaname
TheCrunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the sequel.

The story follows Wakana Gojo, a high school boy with the goal to become a kashirashi, a master craftspan of Japanese Hina dolls just like his grandfather. He meets Marin Kitagawa, one of the popular girls in schools, whose ion is cosplaying. Now Wakana crafts incredible costumes for Marin, as the two break through the cosplay season while slowly growing feelings towards each other.
The franchise also got a TV drama adaptation last year.
