My Hero Academia Season 6: Twice Voted as the Most Valuable Villain in Episode 3 6m71z

My Hero Academia Season 6’s third episode aired on Saturday evening in Japan and Twice was voted as the Most Valuable Villain (MVVillain) for the episode by fans. Right after the episode titled “One’s Justice” finished airing, the official Twitter of the anime began collecting votes by asking their 1.1 million followers to tweet with a hashtag, #ヒロアカMVP (#HeroAcaMVP) and choose the character which had the most impact on them. Although the post said the one with the most votes will be awarded “the Most Valuable Hero (MVHero),” as Twice became the first villain to have taken the No.1 spot since the season started, the official Twitter dubbed him as MVVillain. 1b2s

The official posted Daichi Endo‘s comment: “With the thought of giving it all the agony and hard work Twice has ever got, I attended the voice recording.” Kohei Horikoshi, the author of My Hero Academia manga, also updated his with a drawing of the character without wearing his mask for the episode before the anime’s broadcast.

Kohei Horikoshi has been drawing My Hero Academia manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 2014. The series released the first compiled volume in November 2014 and published the 36th volume on October 4, 2022. Studio Bones is animating the TV anime series.

Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot of Volume 1 as:
Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny…
