Yume’s dark secret has been revealed in episode 3 of My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex. Since the first episode of the series, Yume was always the reason why the stepsiblings encountered unique situations and this time, her imagination got ahead of her. 4y3ks
The episode started with just a random scene in the past from when Yume was still dating Mizuto. It was revealed that she kept everything Mizuto gave her in a small box and revered those as her most prized possessions. The scene switched to the present and there, Yume is holding Mizuto’s underwear and sniffing it. After realizing what she just did, she started imagining Mizuto punishing her and doing kinky stuff.
A few hours ed by, and Yume, while holding Mizuto’s shorts, saw him holding her underwear. I must say, that this situation felt a bit forced in the series because it doesn’t make any sense why both of them suddenly hold each other’s underwear. Still, after finding out what happened, it leads Yume to imagine what Mizuto did to her underwear. As you can see, compared to her brother, she is the horny one.
After school, Yume saw Mizuto eating outside with a girl she couldn’t recognize. Of course, she immediately jumped to the conclusion that they were dating. What’s worse is that she saw a girl’s shoes in front of Mizuto’s room, which made her imagine that the girl and Mizuto are currently having an intimate situation inside. Although it was revealed at the ending of the episode that the girl is Minami Akatsuki, Yume is still clueless.
Overall, the episode didn’t have much to do with their development. It was just full of weird situations, which cannot be comprehended. Yume being lewd in her imagination sure proved that she is still in love with Mizuto, but it is not necessary to make the whole episode revolve around that. Still, I’d say it is one of her cute sides, and if you want to see more of those, stay tuned to the anime. Episode 4 will air on July 27, 2022, and you can watch it on Crunchyroll.
