The My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax OVA revealed a new promotional video ahead of the April 2023 release date. The special episode is coming on April 27 bundled with a limited edition of the new Nintendo Switch/PS4 game based on the franchise. The anime, also known as OreGairu, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
The latest SNAFU OVA revealed the Yui Yuigahama is also currently ongoing.
Studio Brain’s Base animated the first season of the adaptation, which was followed by an OVA episode. In the Spring of 2015, the second season, titled My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!, premiered. The second season was animated by studio feel. and it featured different character designs, but it was a direct continuation of the plot. The same studio animated the OVA that premiered in 2016 and the final and third season, titled My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax. The final season premiered in 2020.
Yen Press licensed the original light novel in English and describes the plot of OreGairu as:
Hachiman Hikigaya is a cynic. “Youth” is a crock, he believes–a sucker’s game, an illusion woven from failure and hypocrisy.
