The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light movie is coming to Netflix worldwide on October 1st, 2021. The official Netflix Anime YouTube ed a trailer for the movie in English and revealed the air date. 2h1r4m

Studio DEEN, who also did seasons 3 and 4, animated the movie. Takayuki Hamana is directed, with Rintarou Ikeda penned the script. Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano are composed the music. The movie features an all-new story by The Seven Deadly Sins mangaka, Nakaba Suzuki, and also serves as a sequel to the final season.
The main cast is returning. Yuuki Kaji is voicing Meliodas and Zeldris, Sora Amamiya is Elizabeth once again, while Yuko Kaida voices Gelda. Aoi Yuuki, Yuuhei Takagi, Jun Fukuyama, and Tatsuhisa Suzuki are also returning as Diane, Gowther, King, and Ban. In addition, Yuuichi Nakamura (Dahlia) and Shinichirou Kamio (Dubs) are ing the cast.
The but the second half of the final season (12 episodes) is not yet available. They also list an OVA series as season 2.
The first season aired from 2014 to 2015 and had 24 episodes. The OVA series Signs of the Holy War followed in 2016, with the Revival of Commandments in 2018. The first movie, The Seven Deadly Sins Movie: Prisoners of the Sky, also aired in 2018. Season 3, titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods, started airing in the Fall of 2019 and had 24 episodes. Initially, the sequel – Dragon’s Judgement was supposed to air in October of 2020, however, it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Studio A-1 Pictures animated the first two seasons, the first movie and the OVA series, while studio DEEN took over for seasons 3 and 4, as well as the Cursed by Light movie.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light opened in Japanese theatres on July 2nd, 2021. It is set after the events of The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement.
The Holy War has ended, and the Seven Deadly Sins have disbanded. Elizabeth and Meliodas take a trip and accidentally run into Zledris and his lover, Gelda. Meanwhile, Diane and King’s wedding is taking place in the Fairy King’s Forest. Ban and Gowther are also with them, as wedding guests. However, just as Diane is about to walk down the aisle, a mysterious sound begins resonating through the forest. Suddenly, an army of fairies and giants interrupts the wedding. Dahlia, a former Fairy King, and Dubs, master craftsman of the Giant Clan are leading the mysterious newcomers. But what exactly is their goal?
