New Genshin Impact Short Explores Arlecchino's Past and Mother 3y733l

Arlecchino, Fourth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, is the star of Genshin Impact’s latest animated short, titled “The Song Burning in the Embers.” The Harbinger, who is also known as The Knave and Father, will play an important role in the update: not only are we getting a quest focused on her but she is also becoming one of the Weekly Bosses. 2k133l

“The Song Burning in the Embers” explores Arlecchino’s past. Ever since her first official in-game appearance in Version 4.0, Arlecchino has been a mystery and although we get to meet the of House of Hearth (the orphanage that she runs), she never gets close to the Traveler. After the “Unfinished Comedy” world-quest line many players pointed out that her appearance resembles Caterpillar’s, who is cursed, in the sense that they both have black hands. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to find her true origin story, as the 4.6 update is expected to drop on April 23/24.

The animated short was teased yesterday:

The Knave was first introduced in the “A Winter Night’s Lazzo” interlude trailer, released right before the 3.0 update, which introduced Sumeru.
