Tsukino Mito, the first VTuber of the Japanese VTuber agency Nijisanji, has officially reached the 1 million subscriber milestone. Mito first debuted in February 2018. As part of the milestone recognition, Nijisanji released a congratulatory video. 2h5k67
On her personal Twitter , Tsukino Mito said that she is thankful for all the fans that had given her an “interesting life.” Several talents such as Vox Akuma (from the English generation Luxiem) and her fellow 1st generation member Higuchi Kaede have extended their congratulatory messages.
Hyakumentabara Salome from the same agency also reached the 1 million subscriber milestone in June this year.
Tsukino Mito debuted alongside Yuki Chihiro, Elu, Higuchi Kaede, Shizuka Rin, Shibuya Hajime, Suzuya Aki, and Moira. She is described as a well-spoken 16-year-old high school class president. As part of her music career, she released her first single titled Sore Yuke! Gakkyuu Iinchoon in October 2020, then her first album titled Moon’s Rabbit Sees a Virtual Dream in August 2021. She also did her first live concert on the same year titled initial step in NIJISANJI.
At the moment, there are a total of 216 Nijisanji VTuber across two different branches and one t venture: 141 NIJISANJI , 32 NIJISANJI EN , and also 43 VirtuaReal Project from VirtuaReal. The most recent generation is XSOLEIL, consisting of Zaion LanZa, Doppio Dropscythe, Meloco Kyoran, Hex Haywire, Kotoka Torahime, and Ver Vermillion.
