At the Summer Game Fest 2022 livestream, the JRPG One Piece: Odyssey revealed a new trailer and previewed its original characters and some gameplay. Eiichiro Oda is in charge of the original story and characters, and the 2 original characters are Adio and Lim. Adio is a drifter himself and will act as a guide to the Strawhats, while Lim is described as a mysterious girl who hates pirates. The story will see the crew lose the Thousand Sunny and stuck on a new island. There’s an interesting environment and new monsters, and the Strawhats will attempt to escape it despite the obstacles.
We’re already halfway through 2022, and an exact release date for One Piece: Odyssey should be coming soon as well. In the meanwhile, you can enjoy the ONE PIECE anime on Crunchyroll or catch up to the latest manga chapter for free on either the VIZ website or the MANGA Plus website.
