Yusuke Murata, the artist of One-Punch Man and Eyeshield 21 manga series, revealed that he started a new anime production studio. Murata didn’t reveal more details in a post shared on his personal X/Twitter , but his announcement attracted comments from many industry professionals, including mangaka George Morikawa (Hajime no Ippo) and Asuka Baito, as well as veteran animator Masaaki Endo.
In addition to One-Punch Man (written by ONE) and Eyeshield 21 (written by Riichiro Inagaki), Murata is known as the author and artist of multiple one-shots such as Blust!, Madofuki Park, Minds, and more. As an artist, he worked on Donten Prism Solar Car and many one-shots that include Science vs. Magic, Gokiburi Buster, and Heroes of Fury.
Earlier this year, Murata directed the One-Punch Man anime special, titled Go! Saitama.
Yusuke Murata and Village Studio are also working on a new original anime, titled Zaiyuki. The artist shared some clips of the project on his personal , calling it a “pilot.” The clips don’t have sound:
