On 13 August 2020, MAPPA officially announced their original work titled Gymnastics Samurai. The new program is slated to premiere on 10 October 2020 and the Zombieland Saga staff will be heavily involved in the production. A new promotional video was also revealed. 4c5g45
The program will have Hisatoshi Shimizu as the director, Shigeru Murakoshi as the screenwriter, and Kasumi Fukagawa as the character designer.
The protagonist of the story will be voiced by Daisuke Namikawa as Shōtarō Aragaki and Kensho Ono as Leonardo. It will also star Yuuki Kaji as Tetsuo Minamino, Kenyuu Horiuchi as Noriyuki Amakusa, and Rina Honnizumi as Rei Aragaki.
