Rie Takahashi, known for her roles as Megumin from KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! series, Takagi-san in the Teasing Master Takagi-san series, is voicing the character in Oshi no Ko anime adaptation.
The Oshi no Ko anime is based on a manga series written by Aka Akasaka known as the manga author of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and illustrated by Mengo Yokari, who is best known for her manga series Scum’s Wish. The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine since April 2020. The series released the first compiled volume in July 2022 and the newest, 9th compiled volume in October 2022. The manga sured 3.8 million circulating copies. Viz Media licensed the manga and describes the plot of volume 1 as:
