The official Twitter of the Oshi no Ko announced that the series is partnering with a Kaneyo baking soda in Japan. The special product features Kana Arima, who is also known as Baking Soda-chan and it will be available to purchase this July. Oshi no Ko anime is animated by studio Doga Kobo (New Game!) is animating the series with Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) as director and Saori Tachibana (Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as assistant director. Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) is writing the scripts while Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is doing the character designs.
The TV anime adaptation of Oshi no Ko is based on a manga series written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) with illustrations provided by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has been serializing the series since April 2020. Yen Press is licensing the manga in English and they describe the first volume as follows:

The anime was voted the topped the anime ranking again in week 6.
