OSHI NO KO, this season’s most anticipated anime, continued to remain exciting for fans after the wild premiere and has managed to top the anime ranking in the 2nd week after its second episode. 20,044 people voted, and it took 9.13% of the votes. Behind it was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc again, as well as Loving Yamada at Lv999. OSHI NO KO anime is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). It is animated by studio Doga Kobo, with Daisuke Hiramaki as the director and Saori Tachibana as the assistant director. Kanna Hirayama is adapting the character designs from the manga, while YOASOBI performs the opening song titled “Idol”. Rie Takahashi voices the popular idol Ai Hoshino.
