Overlord IV, also known as Season 4, revealed a new trailer and a July 2022 release date. The information was revealed during a special program on Kadokawa’s YouTube channel. Voice actors Satoshi Hino (Ainz), Yumi Hara (Albedo), and Emiri Kato (Aura) were part of the stream. Studio MADHOUSE is animating once again. 2k3b2o
Season 4 of the Overlord anime was 2022 release date. Naoyuki Ito is directing the fourth season, with Satoshi Tasaki on character designs. Yukie Sugawara is overseeing series composition and also writing the screenplay.

The series is based on Overlord light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. Season 2 and season 3 both aired during 2018, with studio MADHOUSE animating. A movie is also in the works, but there is still no information about the potential release date. Two recap movies, also by studio MADHOUSE, exist.
