Pop Team Epic 2 will begin broadcasting on October 1 of this year and it will also make history as the first anime to stream on TikTok LIVE. The gag comedy series will be animated by studios Kamikaze Douga (known for animating JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure opening themes) and Space Neko Company (Ore, Tsushima). 2q4p55

The story is based on absurd comedy manga series written and illustrated by Bkub Okawa. It often contains slapstick comedy and crude humor and each episode includes a number of short skits while featuring the adventures of the main characters.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season of the anime and describes the plot as:
