Season 2 of Pop Team Epic is coming in 2022, over 3 years after the first one. There is still no information about studio, but an announcement trailer and visual are now available. The announcement trailer features Shouta Aoi, who also appeared in the first season of the anime: 3m70e

The story is based on absurd comedy manga series written and illustrated by Bkub Okawa. The series often contains slapstick comedy and crude humor. Kamikaze Douga (known for animating JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure opening themes) and Space Neko Company (Ore, Tsushima) animated the first season. Each episode included a number of short skits while featuring the adventures of the main characters.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season of the anime and describes the plot as:
