The PriConne anime is based on a mobile game by Cygames. CygamesPictures animated the first season and is also working on the second, with Yasuo Iwamoto as the director. Takaomi Kanasaki, who directed the first season, is in charge of series composition. Imagine is composing the music for the anime. Mai Watanabe, Yasuyuki Noda, Satomi Kurita, and Lie Jun Yang are also working on the anime, as character designers.
The voice cast is returning for season 2. Rika Tachibana is voicing Karyl, while M・A・O is Pecorine. Atsushi Abe is also returning as Yuuki, with Miku Itou once again voicing Kokkoro.
The story is set in Astrewa, where Yuuki wakes up without his memories. Soon he meets Kokkoro, who is meant to be his guide, a constantly-hungry swordswoman Pecorine, and a sorceress named Karyl. The four of them end up starting a “Gourmet Guild” and are constantly on the lookout for more tasty food to try. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime.
