The Rascal Does Not Dream light novel series is set to end in two volumes in October this year, as announced by Dengeki Bunko, the imprint under which the series is being serialized. You can check out the special visual for the announcement below. 336n6r
The two volumes left are Rascal Does Not Dream of a Girlfriend and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend. They will be released on August 9 and October 10 of this year respectively. A drama CD version of the last two volumes will also be released simultaneously.
Rascal Does Not Dream(Seishun Buta Yaro) is a Japanese light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi. The serialization began in April 2014 with a total of 13 volumes currently out. It also received a manga adaptation illustrated by Tsugumi Nanamiya, from December 2015 to August 2018.
The anime adaptation by CloverWorks aired from October 4 to December 27, 2018, for 13 episodes under the title Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. The series also has three sequel movies namely Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl (2015), Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out (June 2023), and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid (December 2023). A sequel that will cover University Arc is in production.
