BN Pictures’ Raven of the Inner Palace anime revealed a new trailer, along with October 1 premiere date. Theme song information has also been revealed and includes: 2b6k2n
In addition to the new trailer, Raven of the Inner Palace anime also revealed a character visual, that features the voice actors behind them. The main staff includes:
Chizuru Miyawaki (Gintama) is directing Raven of the Inner Palace anime. Satomi Oshima (Sataraki Man) is in charge of series composition, while Shinji Takeuchi (Gintama) is doing character designs. Asami Tachibana (Moriarty the Patriot) is composing the music. The anime was initially teaser trailer was ed in the same month.
The anime is based on a novel written by Koko Shirakawa and illustrated by Ayuko. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed it in English during this year’s Anime Expo. The plot is described as:
Deep within the palace lives a mysterious woman known only as the Raven Consort. Some say she’s an old woman, others that she’s young and beautiful. But all are agreed on this: her dark arts have the power to exorcise spirits, lay fatal curses, and find what has been lost—for a price. When the young emperor, Koushou, seeks out the Raven Consort to make use of that magic, what follows will overturn the court…and perhaps even the country.
