Rie Takahashi Tests Positive for COVID-19

Voice actress Rie Takahashi tested positive for COVID-19, as her agency 81 Produce announced earlier today. Takahashi came in with an infected person on Tuesday and developed a fever on Thursday, after which she tested positive. She is currently isolating and resting at home.

Rie Takahashi tweeted about the statement made by 81 Produce, thanking fans for and promising to be back after she recovers from COVID-19.

The Japanese voice actress was born on February 27, 1994, in Saitama Prefecture. In addition to voice acting, she also sings and has released her Hiyori Shiina in Classroom of the Elite Season 2. She will also be voicing Sakura Miharutaki in the Kakeguri Twin, which is set to premiere on Netflix in August. Takahashi also does voice acting for video games and is known as Hu Tao from Genshin Impact, Eric from Granblue Fantasy, and more.
