On 17 September 2020, the remake of the all time favorite Shaman King revealed its latest promotional video. The anime is slated to premiere on April 2021, and will be produced by Bridge under the direction of Takeshi Furuta. The main casts and staff were also revealed. 6x5a44
The anime was based on the popular manga Shaman King written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei that has sured 35 million copies. The 35-volume manga was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump between June 1998 and August 2004. The Japanese version of the manga was formerly published by Shueisha and is now currently being published by Kodansha. An English version of the manga is currently being published by Kodansha USA.

The first series of the anime consists of 64 episodes which were aired between 4 July 2001 and 25 September 2002 on TV Tokyo in Japan. On 12 June 2020, a remake of the anime was announced and its first promotional video was also released.
