The anime adaptation is based on a light novel written by Mizuho Itsuki and illustrated by Fumi. The story follows Sarasa who is an orphan and the only way to success for her is to become an alchemist so she enrolls in Royal Alchemist Training Academy. Her master gifts her a store and sends her off into the countryside to manage it. Sarasa is quite surprised when she realizes the countryside isn’t what she imagined it to be but she decides to try and run the store and make a living.
