The Solo Leveling anime was voted the most anticipated anime of the Winter 2024 season, beating out Classroom of the Elite Season 3 and The Dangers in My Heart Season 2. The hype behind the manhwa has been growing for years, so it’s hardly a surprise to see it on top. In addition, the adaptation will have an opening theme song by Hiroyuki Sawano and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
The original Solo Leveling web-novel by Chugong was first serialized in 2016 and ended in 2018 with a total of 270 chapters compiled into 14 volumes. Webnovel licensed it in English under the title Only I Level Up, and they describe the story:
