Spy x Family anime released a new illustration of the series’ Damian Desmond as a countdown to the second cour of the series. There are only 5 days left until the October 1 premiere date. The newly released illustration depicts, from the bottom angle, Damian Desmond showing his left hand to indicate the number of days left while blushing. Damian is a first-year student at Eden Academy and has fallen in love with the little esper Anya Forger in the first cour. He is the second son of the man Loid is trying to get close to – Donovan Desmond. The picture also says “Spy x Family – [Damian’s open hand palm] Days Until the Second Cour” along with the illustrator’s name.

The WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks’ collaborative anime Spy x Family based on Tatsuya Endo’s Shonen Jump+ manga of the same name began in April and ended its first cour on June 25 in Japan with the 12th episode. The second cour will begin broadcasting on October 1, and the manga’s next, 10th volume is scheduled to be released on October 4.
Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot as:
