Yui Horie, known as Tsubasa Hanekawa in the Monogatari series, is playing the role of Tsukasa Go, Yuri’s classmate. Mikako Komatsu who voiced Salwa in Konbu Wakame’s other work The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated‘s anime adaptation in 2021, is acting as Tsukasa Go’s female butler Fujisaki. Miyu Tomita, who is playing Miko Iino in the Kaguya-sama series this season, is voicing Yuri’s maid Lilith’s former classmate and former colleague Natsume Nakashima.
The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious is Konbu Wakame’s romantic comedy that follows Yuri and his new “mysterious” maid Lilith. The series has been serialized in Square Enix’s magazine Monthly Gangan Joker since January 2020. The manga released its 5th volume in February 2022.
Yen Press has been officially publishing the English edition and describes the plot of Volume 1 as:
There’s something really strange about the maid I just hired! No normal person could be so beautiful, or cook such amazingly delicious food, or know exactly what I want before I even ask.
