The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 has finally caught up to where it left before its delay, and the preview for episode 7 has been released. The episode will premiere on August 19, and you can watch the preview: 243yd

The anime originally started airing in January this year, but was delayed due to production issues. The broadcast restarted in July. Yuichiro Umehara replaced Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of Anos, while the remaining cast is reprising their roles. The staff includes:
The Misfit of Demon King Academy series is based on a light novel written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The light novel began serialization in Dengeki Bunko in 2018, with a manga adaptation by Kayaharuka following in MangaUp! magazine. As Kayaharuka ed away in 2021, the manga has been put on indefinite hiatus.
Square Enix licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
Anos Voldigord was a tyrannical Demon King that eradicated humans, spirits, and even the gods. But he became bored of eternal warfare and reincarnated with dreams of a peaceful world. However, what awaited him in reincarnation after 2000 years were descendants who became too weak after being accustomed to peace, and all sorts of magic that deteriorated to the extreme. Anos enters Demon King Academy that gathers and educates those who are viewed as the reincarnation of the Demon King. But the academy could not see through his true powers and ends up branding him as a misfit!
