“To Your Eternity” is a currently airing anime that, as of the moment of writing of this article, has 8 episodes.
What’s more, the anime will have 20 episodes. In case you didn’t know, “To Your Eternity” is an anime adaptation of the manga series written by Yoshitoki Ōima. It follows the story of a mysterious orb sent to Earth. It has no identity nor emotions, but through time it learns to take different forms. One day, it acquires the form of a boy and gains consciousness. The boy, Fushi, sets off to travel in search of new experiences, places, and people. “The journey begins.”
We’ll see if “To Your Eternity” opening theme will manage to sur the theme of “Evangelion 3.0+1.0”, which also managed to 1 million plays on the first day.
