Kyoto Animation revealed the creditless version of Tsurune: The Linking Shot opening on its YouTube channel on January 11. Luck Life is singing the opening theme song, titled simply “C.”
Takuya Yamamura is directing the sequel, which began broadcasting on second season was announced on the same day. The story is based on a light novel by Kotoko Ayano. It first received an anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation in the Fall of 2018. The anime had 13 episodes and a special titled Tsurune: Dangerous Shoot.
The main cast from the first season are reprising their roles and include Jun Fukuyama as Eisuke Nikaido, Kensho Ono as Shu Fujiwara, and Yuto Uemura as Minato Narumiya. HIDIVE is streaming Tsurune: The Linking Shot and describes the plot as:
Protagonist Minato Narumiya has reignited his ion for kyudo, the Japanese martial art of archery. Along with his friends in the school kyudo club, he returns for an all-new second season of Kyoto Animation’s beloved Tsurune.
