Umamusume: Pretty Derby has announced an anime movie adaptation titled Umamusume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era for a May 24, 2024 premiere in Japan. Cygames Pictures will animate, with Ken Yamamoto as the director. The movie will center on Jungle Pocket, who is voiced by Yuri Fujimoto. Watch the announcement trailer: 4f6dr

Besides Ken Yamamoto, the staff includes Tetsuya Kobari in charge of the story/scenario structure, Kiyoko Yoshimura on the screenplay and Jun Yamazaki as the character designer and chief animation director. Sumire Uesaka as Agnes Tachyon and Yui Ogura as Manhattan Cafe have also been confirmed for the movie.
The Umamusume: Pretty Derby game launched for iOS and Android on February 24, 2021 and for PC on March 10, 2021. Besides the TV anime and the Umayon short-form anime, the most recent new 3rd season finished airing today after 13 episodes.
