The usual of the group decided to go out for fun, and Ami is expecting something exciting between Uzaki-chan and Sakurai. Speaking of Sakurai, there has been something going on with him lately. Studio ENGI is in charge of the production of the series with Kazura Miura as the director. Aoshima Takashi is writing the scripts and Manabu Kurihara Manabu is the character designer. The main cast of the anime includes Naomi Ozora and Kenji Akabane reprising their roles as Hana Uzaki and Shinichi Sakurai.
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is based on a manga by Take. It has been serialized on NicoNico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English and they describe the story:
Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him.
