VTuber Yugo Asuma from the Noctyx generation of Nijisanji English has graduated, the agency announced. This makes him the VTuber to graduate in the entire English talent lineup. Asuma’s graduation takes effect immediately, according to the latest statement from parent company ANYCOLOR. 262413
In a statement, the company said that they have held multiple discussions with Asuma regarding his standing as a VTuber talent company. They have noted that these discussions included many aspects of his activities and behavior which are deemed ‘unacceptable’. “After much deliberation between both parties, as a company that s many “Livers” from Nijisanji and Nijisanji EN, we have decided to have Yugo Asuma graduate,” the company said.
Following the announcement, several of the Nijisanji talents have expressed their feelings regarding the announcement. Uki Violeta and Fulgur Ovid, both talents from the Noctyx unit of Nijisanji, said that they encourage everyone to take time to process everything and that they hope that the fans can stay patient with them.
Meanwhile, Hana Macchia, one of the founding of Nijisanji Indonesia that got consolidated into the main branch, has announced the cancellation of her 3D model stream. She also took to Twitter to voie her frustration, saying that she will take a streaming break.
As of this writing, Asuma’s YouTube channel had all of his videos either set to private or deleted, though the main channel is still up. Meanwhile, his Twitter profile has been locked already, as the sale of merchandise and voice content will also be suspended. Yugo Asuma debuted with the Noctyx generation in February this year and has around 400,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
